Event Information

This event will be held on 11 October at 11:15-12:15 AT at CEM17 at the Riyadh Front Exhibition & Conference Center in room TP2 (Exhibition Area, Hall 9, Upper level).

Electrification is increasing the importance of managing electricity demand alongside expanding clean electricity supply. Demand-flexible appliances and electrical equipment can help manage demand growth, improve affordability, and prepare electricity systems for a more flexible future. This session will explore how governments, manufacturers, and other stakeholders can accelerate the deployment of efficient, grid-connected appliances that are ready to participate in demand response programmes. The session will also launch a new SEAD initiative to track and share international experience with product policies that support demand flexibility.

This session is open to delegations attending CEM17/MI11 in person. For further details, please visit the CEM17/MI11 event page.

Join strategic leaders from governments and industry to share how demand-response-ready products can deliver flexibility.
